Storage and transshipment
The Vanden Avenne family is the majority shareholder in Euro-Silo’s storage and transhipment facility in the Port of Ghent (Belgium). The storage capacity is 650,000 tons.
Every year, we handle about 6 million tons of vegetable raw materials, directly to the customer, or through silo. The latter then goes through one of our storage & transshipment facilities (Izegem & Euro-Silo Ghent) or via an external site such as Zeebrugge (Be), Rotterdam (Nl) or Huningue (Fr).
